Contact an investment company such as Vanguard or Fidelity. Open up an account with them. Fund the account. Then, invest in the appropriate funds.

I would rather suugest you to open an demat account for trading. With this you deposite your money with online banking, and can easily invest in whichever company you like.

    Happy investing.

Just open account with Fidelity or JPMorgan and invest in one of their managed funds. They have both conservative or aggressive funds to suit all kinds of investors.

thanks for the advice so far.

I've read that the lowest fees for investing in index funds for Canadians come from TD e-Series funds, whats the advantage in opening up an account with another Company such as Vanguard or Fidelity? Again I am just looking for the lowest fees of an index fund.
