I recommend you first learn how markets work. Equities, options, futures etc and learn what appeals to you. Watch Tastytrade.com...check out the archives...go ahead and register on the website...it's all free, they don't spam you or try to sell you anything. If you want to get some practice making trades so you aren't making expensive mistakes register for a TDA account through Dough.com and download Thinkorswim and practice with the real time paper trading feature. (It's better to register for TDA through Dough.com because you will get an automatic fee reduction if you ever decide to put money in it and trade for real through them)
