This is why I don't buy apartments.I know many people like them for investments,but I do not.
People around here want privacy and backyards. Apartments are last on there list.
1.Houses
2.Mobiles on land
3.Apartments
vacancy rate is now one of the leading indicators IMO.
we're in an era when there are more forclosed properties per capita in history along with some of the highest inventory of single family homes yet vacancy rates are highest.
Look at the good side. Tent sales are up... Seriously I would guess that the first time buyers credit has had some effect on that. Every house under the 100 range sells quickly in our area. First time buyers are obviously moving from rentals.
either something is not adding up correctly or we've really overbuilt this country.
