View Full Version : How can I invest if im a Minor
Im 15 right now and I would like to start investing in the stock market.I have $75 id like to start investing with. Is there any way that I can invest in the stock market even though im a Minor?
First of all, congrats on showing so much interest int he markets at your age!
If you are under 18, you parents can sign off on a custodial account, so no problem there.
$75 is not much, but its a start.
There are brokers like robinhood.io that have $0 commissions, this means you can buy or sell and not get charged commission for that trade.
Before you do any of that, you will want to click on the education link at the top of this page. There is a lot to get through, some of it is very complicated, but it will give you an idea of just how much there is to learn before you start putting your money to work!
How do I get started with a custodial account?
Your parents will have to get that going for you.
And once that is set up, would I still have to find a broker ?

That is the broker.
Robinhood.io is an online broker, you trade through an app on your iphone.
