I usually react with an intense depressed rage, but usually take it out on myself and feel like it's because there is something wrong with me instead of something wrong with them.
Although that said, my first bf cheated on me with a dude, so I told all his mates and got his car stolen

Unhealthy reaction TBH. I have seen people take it out on themselves. It ends up making you more sad and aggressive specially since the fault lies in the person who cheated on you. I have seen first hand girls threatening their ex-boyfriends, and that they'll do all sorts of execrable stuff to themselves. This is rare but it is still there.
