Gap plays

Netwrangler has some great gap info on the education portion under tech analysis, but I thought I would pop this up for watching today.

Please post gap comments to the thread I refer to above.

If you have the ability, watch a 5 and 1 minute (or tick chart as needed) of the following:

JASO
CEPH
AAPL

Watch how the stocks react to the routine gap on open. CEPH and JASO have a very high fill rate. Over 80 for both day in and day out. Those are very good odds. AAPL does not get as high a fill rate, but it's range and volatility make it one to play.

As you watch the gaps, ponder an entry and an exit. These can be tough even if you use indicators in that time frame such as MA or stochastics. Also, how would you enter, market or limit order?

These gaps are routine and not news generated....but a check of the news is ALWAYS in order before placing any order.

JASO has great volatility, excellent for trading.

And I checked up on CEPH yesterday on your mentioning in the Gap thread, nice moves intraday too..about an average delta of ~$1-5.
