As the title says folks, which genre is underrated compared to the rest?
I think Western overall though I think Horror might be a close second.
Surreal Horror, or whatever genre the movie Eraserhead belongs to.
Alternate history as a genre in general.
Amongst critics and such martial arts films. There are so many great films in that genre that are criminally underrated.
Amongst the casual moviegoer i would say french new wave.
Space Operas that aren't Star Wars or Star Trek.
