How do you select stocks to buy?

I start by downloading the Zacks #1 rank list.

Then I go to IBD and download:
Stocks on the move
The IBD 50
Stocks that funds are buying
Can slim select

First I look at them in Big Charts. If they look good then I put them into the IBD Stock Checkup. If they are over 90 then I put them into Yahoo Finance and look at their Mean Recommendations.

And for the IBD lists I enter them into Zacks for the buy recommendation.
