View Full Version : High Divident Stocks ?
How do I get a list of high dividend stocks?
And are there pointers about div stocks vs non div stocks?

This list is nice. You can further use screeners to get your picks.
Eye in the Sky Trade Planning allows you to screen on dividends:
- Dividend Date
- Ex-Dividend Date
- Dividend Rate
- Dividend Payout Ratio
I recommend dividendinvestor (http://www.dividendinvestor.com/) for looking up particular companies. The quote is free and it gives you very detailed information.
dividend calendar (http://www.thestreet.com/dividends/index.html)
I'm also not sure why you would need a random list of high dividend stocks. What's your goal?
I personally like the dividend aristocrats (http://investorjunkie.com/3974/2012-dividend-aristocrats/). See the previous link for the 2012 list.
It's a list of companies that have raised their dividends for at least 25 years. This means while some of the dividends start low, they grow over time and therefore have a higher rate of return.
Surely much better than many other fixed income investments right now.
Good luck in your research!
