What's the best stock news site, it get an idea for market direction?

I'm looking for a site with articles, by authors in the field who has a good track record. (a paid site is fine)

I'm mainly been reading articles on finance.yahoo but it seems for every article they have saying a sector is going up, the next day they have one saying its going down.

I mainly trade stocks (mostly large caps but a few mid/small) and efts, as well as a smaller amount of precious metals. I like to take some profits off the table when the market's up, and then reinvest them when its down, but so far I've been way off, selling too early and then buying back in either too early or too late.

So I'd like to get more insight as to help with the timing of that, and I'm looking on the longer scale, rather than swing trading where you might trade every few days.
