What's everyone's opinion on ABK right now.

They've been talking about bankrupcy for months now... is this another cry wolf? The media's wording is pretty confusing, but remember... that's the point of the media, to confuse us.

To me it sounds like they're getting rid of some bad debt... should help them out in the long run right?

They still have a lot of institutional ownership.

They are a few cents away from a double bottom at .35-.40

It'd be a risky trade but IF they don't go bankrupt it'd be well worth it. Key word.... IF.


I'm absolutely not recommending this stock as it's a gamble but I want to get a feel for the sentiment.

They have earnings this week. Try to dig up the direction of the company from them.

if they can't get the stock trading above $1 soon (I think by May, but I might be remembering that wrong), then it will be delisted. if that happens, it's just another go-nowhere penny stock.

i think it has the potential to make huge swings in prices, but i've tried playing it before and the opening gaps are just too unpredictable. you need to be very quick on this one before it turns.
