    Lots of shorts got crushed yesterday. It was one of the greatest short squeezes of all time.

    Billions of dollars were lost by hedge funds. Hard to believe that VW was, for a brief moment, worth more than XOM yesterday

    The shorts were right on the valuation of VW, but the market can be irrational at times. Short squeezes can be killers.
