Default How do I know which sectors money is going into?

I know this may seem like a basic question but I still don't know where to get the data that would indicate which sectors of the market the money is going into from the big investment companies (UBS, Citi, Goldman, etc)??

Try this, it's the money flow index from the WSJ, it may be only for subscribers:

Just checking the volume of sector ETF's is a simple way to do it.

you can always take a look at quarterly filings as well

to be honest with you.. institution traders normally stick to the stocks tha they know very well.. so dont look fo ranything new to come out

This chart gives a good overview of the basic market trends. Not sure if a trader would use this, but I find it useful for longer term investing.
