    Default Book Recommendations

    It seems we get a lot of requests for good books so I thought I would start a thread. The books I recommend are:

    Reminiscences of a Stock Operator - Edwin Lefevre
    A Beginner's Guide to Short Term Trading - Toni Turner

    And I have a couple of textbooks on Financial modeling, but they are not meant for beginners

    all toni turner books are good, go to buy.com and you can pick up all 3 for 35 bux shipped, like i did, i know there is some good candlestick books but i havent gotten that far, as i am new to this as you guys are.

    I just read Jim Roger's latest book on commodities. It's a good read. Try your local library to see if they have it available. Even if you're not interested in commodities, the book will help you understand markets and will make you a better investor.
