What's up with CHK
This thing has been falling like a rock. All week it's been shedding 1 - 3 % a day. Is something wrong here? Should I think about getting some more or bailing out completely.
Stock looks sick. After a couple of days of trying to break out of its doldrum the stock looks like its going down. Would be cautiously optimistic if I were you. "don't buy, don't buy".
What do you mean DIW? To me it appears that CHK and the rest of the energy plays are acting maaaaavelously. They appear to be doing exactly what you would imagine overpriced pigs should be doing. Anybody who is long the energy stocks may want to consider panicing now to avoid the rush 8O Just press the panic button I setup for ya'll this morning. I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for you guys. Why do you all want to hide your true feelings?!!

Hmmmm Jacob. It might be late for Jan puts cause the time premium is probably running higher like a scalded dawg as the longs shiver and shake like a dawg passin a t-bone! :lol: Wait for the next rally which will come on the manipulation play that winter's first cold temperatures will bring. You can still play FDG Nov 40 puts and cover at say 35.00. The best out of the money Jan puts will be either of these. AAPL's in the low to mid 40's. NTES 80-85's as soon as NTES breaks above 100. I'm thinkin 101 for NTES as the point of no return. Wait until AAPL trades to at least 55.00, it'll probably take out the 52 week high, but not by much, 55.50? Oh crap! FDG was still trading above 40.00 when I last checked! Go against the Cramer tech rally instead 8)
Nothing to complain about that. I own shares of it in my mom's portfolio ... sold it while it was high and used the money to buy more shares back when it dropped. I have a long term horizon so short term price shifts don't bother me. I have some spare cash in my portfolio and was looking to pick it up.
I think the aquisition of Columbia Gas will be good and I don't see heating oil going down in the future. It may not be as bad as everyone thinks, but I still think they have quite a profit.
Plus their CEO was listed in forbes magazine as one of the best. They did a review of the best and worst CEOs. The link can be found on CNBC or on the Forbes site.
