Bank loan for a mobile home

Hi, I live in a static caravan for 45 weeks of the year and at the end of next year I need to buy a new one. My bank keeps sending me letters saying I could borrow ?30,000 provisionally but would they lend the money knowing I live in a caravan ? I do have a property which I rent out ( owned for 25 years ) Would really appreciate any advice, thanks

Why not ring them up and ask - the worst is that they might say no?

Thanks guys. The bank is Barclays and I have been with them for 30 years so I presume they have a good record of my account and what they are willing to offer me. Sounds promising that they would lend money to buy a boat to live on but my concern is that the caravan is my home address with Barclays and it is not officially classed as a permanent address so perhaps that could affect any loan applications
