View Full Version : RVDO: or a lesson in not second guessing yourself

07-21-2014,
So I looked at RVDO about an hour ago, and it was "shooting" to .04 a share from a penny. I thought to myself "too rich, it's about to get dumped" I turn away, and see it at .08, knowing now it HAS to plummet any second now, and watching the shares go up on the bid/ask on thinkorswim and saying "ok, I SEE all of those sale prices higher up, but that's just bait for suckers who put in market orders", now, sitting at .13 as the bell closes, I see people with shares to buy at like .05, and I fully expect them to be in a world of pain on monday when they realize everyone had bought and are then selling it off, and they'll be holding a penny stock they bought for .05. It makes me regret not getting in at .04 (even for the money i have, a tripling would have been nice!), but it is a lesson learned, sometimes the action you see IS real.

Better not to chase than lose your ass when it dumps. The next one may pop and drop like you thought this time, but because of what you saw today you could end up chasing only to be destroyed. But then again, Wayne Gretzky once said "You miss 100% of all the shots you don't take." In this case the gamble would have paid off, will it next time?

A few things about RVDO. Very small float, so any buying pressure will cause it to pop. Happens sometimes randomly once someone with money finds it. Looks like they picked up on the news yesterday a day late, bought a few blocks around .04/.05 hoping the volume would hit scans and then he dumped all 700k at .068 in less than 8 minutes when his volume helped bring in another bidder and sold to them. That volume hitting was the only reason buyers kept coming in. It probably would have died otherwise. No trades bigger than 50k after that. You may want to consider it short for the penny stock contest next week..... OR who knows, maybe long if crazy enough....

I?m sorry dh3607, but i don?t understand your point.
RVDO was always much higher.
http://www.profitspi.com/stock/view...tock-chart&puv=110794#&&vs=635275134926733044

It was in december 2013 .05 and always between .03-.50 last three years
and very under radar when it was much higher.
It has now with 26m outstanding shares a 3m market cap and outstanding
shares and float are since 2 years unchanged.

Someone walked the stock
down with tiny sells(below are the trades).
Why should there be a world of pain if it was always at .05 and higher?
You probably just looked at the increase of pps and not what happened before.
Not many people could buy shares that low.

When it was .006 it had a 156k market cap.
This was by far too low for a real company with
a real business, plans, without debt and no dilution.

These were all trades ever in subpenny level, looked for me
