Is anyone out there in the same (good) boat I'm in? I didn't sell VLO during Cramer's "take some off the table" energy advice recently, and it is currently soaring (up almost 10% just today). How long should we hold on? I keep up'ing my stop loss sell number, but the stocks continues to climb this week.

Any reason why you wouldn't just keep upping the stop limit to take advantage of any gains, while protecting your profits? It's hard to say when that baby will hit its high. $100?

Oil prices should peak around labor day and might start to come down again.

I'm very happy I didn't sell my XLE during the oil exodus a few weeks ago.

I'm not jumping in at the *tops* of any of the energy stocks, because I'm not sure these prices will hold and they just had a huge run up, because of the hurricane. I could be wrong, I have been before! LOL

Today oil was up big once again. It's really incredible what this sector is doing right now. I wonder how many will be hurt when profit taking starts to happen.
